Visual artist
I am a visual artist influenced by Bill Viola, J.G. Ballard and David Cronenberg.
Over the years, I have collaborated with an art association that enabled me to develop video installations alongside artists such as David Cronenberg, Brian Eno, Atom Egoyan and Peter Greenaway.
Recently, I collaborated with Deniz Cuylan, an award-winning composer known for scoring Netflix productions such as Rise of Empires: Ottoman and Midnight at the Pera Palace, and winner of Best Original Score at the Istanbul Film Festival.
My work revolves around loops: closed circuits of images and sounds that repeat endlessly, like obsessive thoughts or recurring dreams. I am particularly drawn to the hypnotic power of repetition, especially when it is applied to moments of rupture: crashes, explosions, or suspended instants that replay indefinitely.
Loops function as a form of refuge, a way to domesticate chaos and transform even violent imagery into something strangely protective.
Repetition operates as a kind of perceptual white noise, capable of regressing us to an embryonic state of safety, regardless of its origin. In this sense, my vision echoes that of Ballard: a world shaped by its traumas, replayed again and again until they lose their sting, or perhaps begin to reveal their deeper nature.
Bill Viola, J.G. Ballard, David Cronenberg. These are my obsessions. My practice is built around loops: closed circuits of images and sounds that repeat endlessly, like recurring dreams you cannot shake. Crashes, explosions, suspended instants looping forever.
Through repetition even violent imagery becomes hypnotic, strangely protective. My vision echoes Ballard's: a world shaped by its traumas, replayed again and again until they lose their sting, or perhaps reveal their true nature.

The first solo exhibition, presented in the FUORICAMPO series with an artist talk. In a controlled detonation, sequence zero is the precise moment when the programmed series of explosions begins: the time reference, t = 0, from which the delay of every charge is calculated. A system that has reached saturation collapses in on itself, without resolution. Machines destroy themselves in infinite sequences, architectures oscillate between construction and demolition, time and space fall out of alignment, like an aircraft in a stall.
